The idea for this site came about when i read a forum topic commenting on the fact that there needed to be a site for crafters on the emulator servers like swgcraft was for SOE's servers. I started to work on a site that had the same functionality of swgcraft. Once i started out i began getting ideas on other features which i thought would assist crafters. Some ideas were not possible to implement some were. The end result was this site.
I had many ideas as to tools that would assist crafters and i evaluated each one to decide what the benefits were as well as any negative effects they may have. I left out any tools i thought would give and unfair advantage to players while leaving in those i believe to be able to decrease the amout of time spent out of game gathering and maintaining information.
